1. Who we are
MediVerify AI provides a cloud-based medical claim auditing platform available at mediverify.net.
2. Information we collect
We collect account information (name, email, company name, password), billing information processed through our payment provider, uploaded claim documents which may include protected health information (PHI), and usage data such as log data and IP addresses.
3. How we use your information
To provide, operate, and improve the platform. To process payments and send billing communications. To send transactional emails such as account confirmations, password resets, and invoices. To monitor usage for fraud prevention and security.
4. HIPAA and patient data
MediVerify AI acts as a Business Associate under HIPAA for customers who upload PHI. Uploaded claim data is isolated at the database level and is never accessible to other organizations or shared with third parties for advertising. We sign Business Associate Agreements on request for enterprise customers.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with payment processors (ZionPE/Stripe) to handle billing, infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel) necessary to operate the platform, and law enforcement or regulators when legally required.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@mediverify.net.
7. Security
We use TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and row-level security policies in our database.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@mediverify.net.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
